I frequently use the drag & drop method to add an attachment to an email directly from Explorer rather than using the Attach File button. However, as of recently, this method no longer works for me. Dragging & dropping attachments won’t work when Outlook runs as an administrator. Cannot save a Matlab file. Learn more about not a bug, one drive And it's not a firewall issue. And saving from Wordpad vs. from MATLAB, or saving from Octave, also won't work. Like I said, the whole problem is he was trying to save the file under c:\Program Files. In at least one MATLAB release there was a problem working with OneDrive
If you want to use multiple accounts in Outlook and one is an Exchange server, the Exchange account always wants to be the default data file. While you can set any email account as the default account for sending mail, you may not be able to set the data file as default in the Account Settings dialog.
